{"id":2400,"date":"2018-06-29T22:32:13","date_gmt":"2018-06-29T20:32:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.maendeleo.eu\/?p=2400"},"modified":"2018-11-27T12:41:03","modified_gmt":"2018-11-27T11:41:03","slug":"another-school-launched-the-my-book-buddy-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.maendeleo.eu\/en\/another-school-launched-the-my-book-buddy-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Another School launched the My Book Buddy project!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1543318149177{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]We are very proud that together wih <strong>MyBookBuddy<\/strong> foundation we could already provide the third school in the Mombasa regio with well filled class book cases!\u00a0 This time it was the turn of the\u00a0 New Furaha Primary School in Kikambala.\u00a0 A 300 pupils school in a very poor area in Kilifi county.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to a\u00a0 special donation by the thrift shop <strong>Spullewaard Zaltbommel<\/strong> we could launch the project on May 26 2018.<\/p>\n<p>More than 300 children, their parents and teachers welcomed the new book cases. Staff members of the school had painted the cases very nicely in the \u00a0My Book Buddy pattern and colours. Again it was a fantastic party.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maendeleo.eu\/en\/my-book-buddy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My Book Buddy project<\/a>\u00a0project the children can read as long as they go to\u00a0 school. Every week another book.
