{"id":2415,"date":"2018-04-27T11:16:33","date_gmt":"2018-04-27T09:16:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.maendeleo.eu\/?p=2415"},"modified":"2021-01-15T09:42:14","modified_gmt":"2021-01-15T08:42:14","slug":"project-my-book-buddy-expands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.maendeleo.eu\/en\/project-my-book-buddy-expands\/","title":{"rendered":"Project My Book Buddy expands!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to a special donation from the recycling shop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maendeleo.eu\/en\/samenwerken\/\">De Spullewaard<\/a>\u00a0in Zaltbommel, \u00a0we are making again great progress with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maendeleo.eu\/en\/my-book-buddy\/\">My Book Buddy<\/a>\u00a0project in 2018.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Soon the New Furaha Primary School will have a school library. This primary school is located in Kanamai, a smalll village community North of Mombasa. Preparations are now in full swing: teachers are being trained and already much work has been done on the bookcases.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of February we took a look at the school. We were impressed by the enthusiasm: teachers and pupils are looking forward to the arrival of the class libraries. They have to be patient for a little while \u2013 Saturday May 26<sup>th<\/sup> is the official launch of MyBookBuddy at their school.
